Flowers - King Charles Silhouette First Stamps
Since HM King Charles III's accession, stamp collectors have been eagerly awaiting new stamps with King Charles III's profile, but Queen Elizabeth II had already approved some stamp issues in advance, and King Charles, as you would expect (to save waste), still wanted these stamps used.
Britain is a nation of gardeners and coupled with the fact that these are the first stamps to showcase a new Monarch’s profile since 1952, we expect this issue to be very popular. Featuring a touching image of King Charles III with his late mother, and postmarked at Highgrove, where HM King Charles III resides. Having a keen interest in gardens and environment makes this stamp issue all the more appropriate.

Our Designer Nikki tells us: "Being the first issue since 1952 to have a new Monarch's profile, and knowing that HM King Charles III is a keen environmentalist, I wanted King Charles feature on the cover. I found this image of HM Queen Elizabeth II and Charles and thought it was very fitting, going from the Queens head to the Kings".
