The Forth Rail Bridge, a famous railway bridge that spans the Firth of Forth in Scotland, connecting the towns of North Queensferry and South Queensferry.
The Forth Bridge was designed by Sir Benjamin Baker and Sir John Fowler. Construction began in 1882 and was completed in 1890. It's a cantilever railway bridge, known for its distinctive red color and its massive, crisscrossing lattice girders. The main span of the bridge is approximately 1,710 feet, and the total length, including approach viaducts, is around 8,296 feet!
The towers of the bridge stand at a height of 361 feet above the high-water mark.
