Sir John (Sandy) Woodward was commander of Carrier Battle Group during the Falklands War and was made Knight Commander of the Bath in recognition of that group's work. 

Sir Jeremy Black Vice Admiral of the United Kingdom and Lieutenant of the Admiralty.

 Sir Alan West is a retired admiral of the Royal Navy and formerly, from June 2007 to May 2010.
