Charles Roberti 1935 English Channel Rocket Mail

Charles Roberti signed 1935 English Channel Rocket Mail attempt cover. Charles Roberti was born in the Netherlands where he launched his first rocket trials. On 13^th September 1935 he unsuccessfully attempted to launch rockets from Calais over the English Channel to the English south coast. These covers were produced to commemorate the attempt with a P.28 rocket cachet and special cinderella stamp, plus are hand signed by Roberti himself.
