1951 Festival Low & High Values, Gosport CDS

3rd May 1951 Festival of Britain full set of the low and high values across a pair of PTS covers. Both with Gosport CDS postmarks and registered labels, plus matching typed addresses.

The set was issued on 3^rd May for the 1951 Festival, which aimed to promote a public mood of recovery following the war. The issue included two commemorative stamps plus five low & four high values definitives. There are superb combination covers to be found with a mix of these values all postmarked on the first day of issue.
