1966 Battle of Hastings, ordinary, Normanton CDS

14^th October 1966 Battle of Hastings with ordinary stamps & Normanton CDS. Registered label plus a French Battle of Hastings stamp also cancelled with a Normanton CDS. Philart cover opened down the right hand side with a handwritten address and an Orly Paris arrival backstamp from the 17^th October. A scarce postmark & even more unusual to see it cancelling the French anniversary stamp.
