A pair of stamps were released for the Silver Wedding of King George VI & Queen Elizabeth. The 2 1/2d was designed by George Knipe & the 1d by Joan Hassall. They were released on 26th April, although distribution of the £1 was limited as it had been produced primarily for collectors.
