The Victoria Cross celebrates its 150th Anniversary. With a Medal stamp from the 1990 Gallantry issue, a single Crimean War stamp and a Hyde Park postmark (12th October, 2004). Doubled with an Isle of Man stamp and a Castletown postmark (21st June, 2004).
Signed by Gerard Norton VC. Awarded for his heroics in 1944 during the attack on Montegridolfo, Italy.
