The History of the Post

I don’t think it is an understatement to say this collection covers all of this. It is a collection of well over 2000 items on both covers and postcards (It could be over 2300!), commemorating everything postal related, from Post Buses to new Sorting Offices, from Stamp Clubs to International Exhibitions and from Societies to Stampex. It seems to cover from 1971 till around 2015 and is all from the large collection of one postmark collector, which we have been breaking up over the last year. Included are a great mix of official covers and postcards, right through to more recent issues where it looks like he printed and designed him own covers with a home printer.

We have never had a postmark collection like this, and includes many items we have never seen before, and it will be a long time before we see another as good as this
