Submarine, BFPS 2628 postmark, signed Keith Payne, Ian Fraser, Bill Speakman & Eric Wilson

2001 Centenary of the Royal Navy Submarine Service, HMS Thrasher cover with BFPS 2628 postmark, signed by Victoria Cross Winners Ian Fraser (1920 - 2008), won by commanding a midget submarine attack on a Japanese ship in Sinagapore. Keith Payne, who won his during the Vietnam War, Bill Speakman Pitt (1927 - 2018) won in Korea by holding off an enemy attack and Eric Wilson (1912 - 2008) won in 1941 by manning a submachine gun post, it was thought he had been killed so initially was awarded posthumously.
