Major General Sir Jeremy Moore KCB OBE MC was the commander of the British Land Forces who won the Falklands War.

Major General Julian Thompson CB OBE RM of the Royal Marine Commandos was involved in the planning of the initial landings carried out by his Brigade.

Captain M C Clapp CB RN joined the royal Navy in 1950 and was 801 Squadron Commander Falklands Amphibious Task Group in 1982.

Sir John (Sandy) Woodward was commander of Carrier Battle Group during the Falklands War and was made Knight Commander of the Bath in recognition of that group's work.
