Tower of London historically held armoury as part of its long and varied history and was one of the most important royal armouries in England, housing and displaying weaponry, armour, and other military equipment for centuries. It was used both as a storage facility for the Crown’s military resources and as a centre for the manufacturing and maintenance of arms. Coupling this with the Royal Armouries who are the national museum with over 75,000 objects over three sites
