Commemorates both the British and French prototypes flying at Mach 2 for the first time. Our cover features a great shot of Concorde 001 in flight and has a stamp and label from our Concorde stamp sheet and a special anniversary postmark (12th November, 2010). It has been doubled with a French Concorde stamp which is cacheted on the date that 001 first flew at Mach 2 - 4th November 1970, and a 1969 Concorde stamp and cachet. It is available signed by Concorde flight engineer Alan Heywood.

Alan Heywood, BAC / Bae Concorde Flight Engineer was born in Yorkshire in 1938. He did an Aircraft Industry Apprenticeship with A.V. Roe & Gloster Aircraft Co.
