We worked officially with Cunard to create this beautiful, limited edition cover. It celebrates the 40th Anniversary of Cunard's best loved cruise ship: QE2. Each cover was carried on board the QE2's anniversary cruise and stamped with a carried cachet. These covers were available to buy on board the anniversary cruise - and they sold over 300 covers on the first morning alone! The stamps on them are from our official QE2 Cunard stamp sheet.

A small number were signed personally by Commodore Warwick, who was QE2's Captain for 9 years before he became Master of Queen Mary 2. Funnily enough, Warwick's father was also Master of the QE2 for her maiden voyages!

RMS Queen Elizabeth 2

RMS Queen Elizabeth 2, often called the QE2 was the flagship of the Cunard Line from 1969 until the RMS Queen Mary 2 succeeded her in 2004. She is one of the great transatlantic ocean liners and was the last oil fired passenger steamship to cross the Atlantic in regularly scheduled liner service before she was refitted with a diesel power plant. At 70,327 tons and 963 ft (294m) long, with a top speed of 32.5 knots, she is one of the largest and fastest passenger vessels afloat despite the fact that she is smaller than bother her predecessor and her successor.
