This is a lovely letter with good military content and wonderful for it to have been written at the iconic St. Cloud. The letter has clearly been well looked after as it is in very good condition considering its age. We have never had a Napoleon in stock before to offer you so this really is a unique opportunity to add this historical figure to your collection.

Bonaparte (1769 – 1821) was a French statesman and military leader who rose to prominence during the French Revolution. He ruled as Emperor of the French from 1804 until 1814 and again briefly in 1815. During this time Napoleon led many successful campaigns and built an empire which ruled over continental Europe, lasting until his defeat at Waterloo in June 1815 and his subsequent exile to St Helena. Napoleon is widely regarded as one of history's greatest military commanders but his political and cultural legacy endures as one of celebration and controversy.
