It is available signed by QM2 Captain, Commodore Warwick, and was carried aboard the maiden voyage.
Few companies have as proud a heritage as Cunard Line. In 1839 Samuel Cunard successfully tendered for a contract to deliver mail across the atlantic from Great Britain to North America. To fulfil the contract Cunard built 4 steamships and pioneered regular scheduled Trans-Atlantic sailings in 1840.
Perhaps the most famous Cunard ships out of over 200 in its history are the Cunard Queens; Queen Mary (1934-1967), Queen Elizabeth (1936-1968) and QE2 (1967-) which have dominated the Atlantic for the last sixty years.
Queen Mary 2, the biggest liner ever bul at 150,000 tons, continues this Cunard tradition. She is the heir to all that has gone before and she exemplifies the art of shipbuilding in it most refined and masterful form.
