Buzz Aldrin (Gemini 12, Apollo 11)
He was the pilot for the final Gemini mission, Gemini 12, and he set a new record for time spent during an EVA. Aldrin was the Lunar Module Pilot for the Apollo 11 mission and followed Armstrong to the Moon. He spent two and a half hours on the surface and when returning into the Lunar Module he mistakenly damaged the circuit breaker which regulated the main engine for takeoff. Amazingly Aldrin used a felt-tip pen to push the switch in and activate lift off.
