Great Ormond Street Hospital Childrens Charity

We couldn't have done this without the generosity of celebrities who have signed our covers. Very special thanks go to Raymond Briggs (creator of The Snowman and Father Christmas) who has raised £4,000 alone by signing our Christmas covers and legendary actor Sir Ian McKellen who raised just under £2000 by signing our Lord of the Rings covers.

GOSH treats more than 90,000 patients each year - children who are suffering from the rarest, most complex and often life-threatening conditions. They receive the best medical care that money can buy, but the NHS funding cannot meet these ever-rising costs, and that's where the hospital's charity, GOSHCC, steps in. Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity raises essential money to go towards:

  • The ongoing rebuilding and refurbishment of the hospital and the Institute of Child Health
  • Purchasing the most up-to-date equipment which the NHS funding cannot cover. This can start at £75 for a syringe pump
  • Research and development into new and better treatments.
