Nauru Concorde, signed Edouard Chemel & Peter Horton

10th October 2006 Nauru Concorde First Day Cover.  Signed by Concorde captains Edouard Chemel and Peter Horton.

Edouard Chemel was 19 years old, when he was hired by Air France as a Radio Officer.  He completed his pilot training in record time and became a certified Captain on 1st November 1960.  In 1983 he started as a captain on board Concorde, and became Head of Technical Flight Team in the Concorde division.

Peter Horton holds 5 Official World Speed records, he was Captain of the flight to celebrate New Years Eve twice in one night in two different continents. He retired from British Airways in 1999.
