Steven Gerrard MBE is an English professional football manager and former player, who most recently managed Premier League club Aston Villa. Described as one of his generation's greatest players as well as one of the greatest midfielders of all time, Gerrard spent the vast majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool and the England national team, captaining both.
