La Corbiere Lighthouse 150, Glow in the Dark Miniature Sheet

150 Years of La Corbiere Lighthouse miniature sheet cover with a special Jersey FDI postmark (24.04.24). The miniature sheet features an illustration of the lighthouse with a special glow in the dark UV spot ink across the light beam.

La Corbiere Lighthouse is situated on the most south-western point of Jersey. The name means "a place where crows gather", although locals say there are more seagulls than crows there nowadays! The rocks and tidal variation along this stretch of Jersey's coast have long been treacherous for navigation, with La Corbière the location of many shipwrecks.
