Windsor Castle 'New Definitives' cover design featuring the upcoming King Charles III new Jennings definitive stamps and Windsor first day of issue postmark 4th April 2023. 

The Jennings Definitive
Since his accession, stamp collectors have been eagerly awaiting the news of when the King’s Head will first appear on a British stamp and we are pleased to announce that the first King Charles definitives will be issued on 4th April.
The image of HM The King is an adapted version of the portrait created by Martin Jennings for The Royal Mint for the obverse of the new UK coinage and shows the new monarch facing to the left. The stamps perfectly match the ones issued for Queen Elizabeth II. This first issue consists of large and small letter stamps for both 1st and 2nd class, plus £2.20 new value for a change of Overseas tariff.
- 1st Class – Plum Purple
- 2nd Class – Holly Green
- 1st Class Large – Marine Turquoise
- 2nd Class Large – Dark Pine Green
- £2.20 Overseas – Dark Green
