Edward Woodward OBE (1930-2009) was an English actor and singer. He was best known for his roles in film and television, particularly for his portrayal of the titular character in the 1973 film "The Wicker Man." Woodward also had notable roles in TV series such as "Callan" and "The Equalizer."
