Dickie Bird signed 1988 Australian Bicentenary, Benham cover.
Harold 'Dickie' Bird played first-class cricket as a batsman for Yorkshire and Leicestershire between 1956 and 1964. However he is best known for his career as a highly respected umpire. Bird umpired in 66 Test matches, at the time a world record, and 69 ODIs which included three World Cup Finals. Bird earnt the respect and warmth of the cricking world through his friendliness, humor, and eccentricities.
