In "The Black Adder," Brian Blessed portrayed the character of King Richard IV. King Richard IV is a bombastic and larger-than-life monarch, known for his booming voice and over-the-top personality. King Richard IV is the father of Prince Edmund, the central character played by Rowan Atkinson, who later becomes the scheming antihero known as Edmund Blackadder in subsequent series.
