Paralympics 2012 Discus Gold Medallist.

Aled represented Wales in Swimming before he tried out Athletics in 2006 and decided to pursue a career in the Discus and Shot Put.

In 2009, Aled signed off his junior career by claiming a silver medal in the Discus at the IWAS Junior Championships in Switzerland and finishing fourth in the Shot Put. He made his senior World Championship debut in at the 2011 IPC Athletics World Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand, where he won silver in the F42 Discus.

Aled also enjoys rugby, supporting the Ospreys RUFC. He also likes to go surfing when he has the opportunity.

In addition to his Swimming and Athletics achievements, Aled has also represented Welsh colleges in Volleyball. Away from Athletics, Aled hopes to complete his degree in Sports Management and potentially start his own business.
