Bicentenary of The Old Vic Theatre, London

The Old Vic Theatre is one of the most renowned and historic theatres in the world. Celebrate the Bicentenary of the great London landmark which has a close associated with the legendary actor and director Sir Laurence Olivier. In 1944, during World War II, Olivier and his then-wife Vivien Leigh took over the management of The Old Vic, under Olivier's leadership, The Old Vic Theatre produced numerous iconic productions and contributed significantly to the revival of British theatre in the mid-20th century.
