Odette Hallowes (1912-1995) was a Special Operations Executive agent during WWII. She was the highest decorated woman during the war & the first woman to be awarded the George Cross. In 1943 she was captured and was imprisoned at Ravensbruck concentration camp. Her wartime heroism has seen her became one of the most celebrated SOE members.
