British Army Tanks - signed Hamish Stephen de Bretton-Gordon
Celebrate the imperious Chieftain Tank and great British Army Vehicles with this autographed first day cover featuring the miniature sheet stamps. The Chieftain was a British main battle tank that served as the successor to the Centurion tank. Considered one of the best-armoured tanks of its time it was powered by a Rolls-Royce L60 engine and developed during the Cold War era and saw service in the British Army from the 1960s until it was retired in the 90s.

In 1988 he was commissioned into the Royal Tank Regiment and saw active service in Iraq with the 14th/20th King's Hussars as part of the First Gulf War. In 2004 he was appointed commanding officer of the UK's Joint Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Regiment. Additionally, he commanded NATO's Rapid Reaction CBRN Battalion between 2005 and 2007.
Hamish has since written on both chemical and biological weapons, as well as tank warfare, for the BBC, Guardian and the Daily Telegraph.
