75th Wedding Anniversary of Elizabeth & Philip. London SW1 postmark (20th November, 2022)

Princess Elizabeth and Philip Mountbatten were wed on Thursday 20th November 1947 at Westminster Abbey, London.  Elizabeth became the 10th member of the Royal family to be married at the Abbey.  Elizabeth, the eldest daughter of King George VI, was the hier presumptive to the British throne.  Philip was a former Greek and Danish prince and by marrying Elizabeth, was made the Duke of Edinburgh, Earl of Merioneth and Baron Greenwich.
