4th September 2011 40th Anniversary of the First Transatlantic Flight of Concorde. Toulouse to Rio.  Stamp & label (our choice).  Filton postmark. Tripled with French & Brazilian stamps and cachets. Signed by Edouard Chemel.

Edouard Chemel was 19 years old, when he was hired by Air France as a Radio Officer.  He completed his pilot training in record time and became a certified Captain on 1st November 1960.  In 1983 he started as a captain on board Concorde, and became Head of Technical Flight Team in the Concorde division.
