1^st May 1939 9d Olive-Green, 10d Turquoise-Blue, 1/- Bistre-Brown, set of three covers with George Street CDS postmarks and typed addresses.

These were the last of the low value definitives released between 1937 & 1939, printed by Harrison and Sons. Connected postmarks on early definitive first day covers are few & far between, which is why this is such a great set. All three covers have a superb George Street CDS, plus Oban (Argyll) registered labels & matching typed addresses to George A Collie Esq in St Andrews.
