1980 Soyuz 35/37 crew signed cover. Flown in Space!

Leonid Popov, Valeri Ryumin, Viktor Gorbatko & Pham Tuan signed 1980 Soyuz 35/37 flown into space cover, the two-man crews of the Soyuz 35 & 37 missions.

Soyuz 35 docked with the Soviet Salyut 6 Space Station where this cover received the ‘Pentagonal Board Souvenir’ postmark. Then on July 23rd Soyuz 37 docked with the Russian & Vietnamese cosmonauts Gorbatko & Tuan. After a seven day stay, they undocked & the cover was cancelled with both the Russian ‘Soyuz/Salyut Board’ postmark & the ‘Vietnamese Board postmark’, both dated 29th July.

This superb & scarce cover was originally from the private collection of Russian cosmonaut Lev Demin, who has signed it on the reverse. It was flown in space for 185 days, orbiting the Earth 2,192 times, traveling over 56 million miles.
