1978 Coronation, Falklands Flown Rare Set

31st May 1978 Coronation set of four covers flown with the Duke of Edinburgh on his visit to the Falklands in 1991. A very rare complete set which includes the 1981 Duke of Edinburgh Award cover, a 1978 Coronation full set cover, plus two Coronation gutter pair covers. These were not put on general offer but just sent on approval to selected Benham customers, so few collectors even today will have ever seen them. Each one has flight details and are certified on the back. Only seven of the 1978 Coronation full set covers were carried.
