Ron Antinoris was a Glaswegian philatelist and football enthusiast who combined his two hobbies to produce very scarce and high quality covers marking huge moments in football history. He produced superb covers for the 1966 World Cup by doubling and even trebling on different dates such the draw for the group stages, and postmarking in Monaco for the release of their own World Cup stamps. He also produced covers for every single match of the World Cup as well as obtaining covers signed by each team, so can probably claim to be the only man to have collected every single players autograph from the tournament.
