1951 Festival High Values, Ilford CDS

3rd May 1951 Festival High Values full set with Ilford, Essex CDS. Festival logo illustrated cover and typed address. Opened along the top but otherwise in good condition.

The set was issued for the 1951 Festival, which aimed to promote a public mood of recovery following the Second World War. The issue included two commemorative stamps, plus four high value & five low value definitives. They were all issued on the 3^rd May & first day covers with every value are hard to find.
