1932 South Africa to England double crash airmail. Parry, Leon & Hayhoe Ltd illustrated cover. First flown on the 'City of Basra' which crashed at take-off in Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia. The mail was transferred to the 'City of Delhi' which suffered an emergency landing in a swamp near Broken Hill, South Africa. The mail arrived at Croydon, England nine days late on 16th February.
