On 30^th June 1931, the LZ127 Graf Zeppelin departed Friedrichshafen for a flight to Reykjavik, Iceland. Mail was exchanged in Reykjavik and the Graf arrived back to Friedrichshafen on 3^rd July. Outbound mail typically bears a Friedrichshafen 30^th June or on-board cancel. Mail dropped in Reykjavik should bear a Reykjavik 1^st July arrival cancel, of which three types can be found. A green Islandfahrt cachet was applied to mail carried on the flight.
