1927 Gladstone Flight, Wembley Exhibition card. Souvenir card from the 1924-25 Wembley Exhibition. Posted in Gosport on 28th September 1927 & forwarded to Khartoum in preparation to be carried as part of the 269 postal items to be sent on the first resumed Gladstone Experimental Flight to Kisumu in Kenya. Addressed to Jinja, Uganda where it arrived on 17th October. The reverse has Post Office Telephones Cover the Country advert.
