2024 Empire Exhibition Centenary, Don Knight Covers

1924 British Empire Exhibition Centenary. Pair of covers produced by Don Knight, author of 'Lion Roars at Wembley: British Empire Exhibition, 1924-25'. Featuring the two 1^st class ‘stamp on stamp’ designs of the original 1924 Wembley stamps which were issued as part of the London 2010 Festival of Stamp set. Wembley HA9 special postmarks dated 23.04.24, the centenary of the stamps release which were the first ever commemorative GB stamps.

These were produced in very small numbers and each cover is hand numbered on the reverse. Supplied with the original insert card with information on the stamps and autographed by Don Knight.
