The Ultimate Titanic CollectablesOn the 10th April, 1912 MS Titanic left the port of Southampton with great celebrations and set off on what would turn out to be her maiden and only voyage, when she hit an iceberg on 15th April. With that, the legend began. Our stunning commemorative cover has been carried on the original route from Southampton, and postmarked on the 10th April, the original departure date. It bears an old French stamp cacheted at the first port of call, Cherbourg, and a new Irish stamp cacheted at Queenstown, the last port of call. On the 15th April, when the Memorial Voyage will be directly over the wreck of Titanic, a further cachet will be added.
