The 1st of June 2007 was the 145th Anniversary of the 1st Royal Scot train (not to be confused with the loco “Royal Scot” – that anniversary comes later).

Our cover illustration shows the Royal Scot train being pulled by 46243 City of Lancaster, and was postmarked Euston, from where the trains departed.

It pays to book Buckingham Railway covers pre-release because prices rise after issue and they often sell out.
