Icon of the Sixties Turns 50![]() Mini skirts, flares, flowerpower… Fashion may come and go (thankfully in some cases) but real classics never go out of style and with our 23rd stamp sheet, we pay tribute to one of the best loved icons of the Sixties: The Mini. Whether it's poodling down back streets enduring a teenager’s first driving attempts, speeding through the streets of Turin just for the hell of it or racing around a rally circuit, this cute little car with the big personality has been the Nation’s Favourite since it came into being 50 years ago. And we’re celebrating it’s birthday with this charming stamp sheet! Our Stamp sheet is approximately A4 size and features 10 stamps with accompanying labels. Images for the labels have been generously supplied to us from the Heritage Motor Centre archives We’re working officially with the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire, to produce this sheet. It’s home to the very first Mini and is well worth a visit. Signed by a Racing LegendOur main signature for the sheet is Paddy Hopkirk, who is best remembered for his fantastic win at the Monte Carlo Rally in 1964, in which he drove a Mini Cooper S car number 37, license plate/registration 33 EJB. He and fellow driver Henry Liddon remain the only all-British crew to have won the event, a truly staggering achievement. The main illustration on the sheet is of this famous victory from a painting by the great artist Michael Turner. Additional SignatureWe are pleased to be able to offer a double-signed version of our sheet - there will be just 100 signed by Paddy Hopkirk and Michael Turner. We’re expecting this to be a sell-out, so don’t wait – get your order in now and avoid disappointment! Frame Yours for the Wall! These sheets are so irresistible that we know many of you will frame them for the wall. That way, they also make stunning presents. We don't offer our sheet framed at the moment but we do offer it mounted, ready to frame. That leaves you free to choose a frame YOU like and that suits your colour scheme. Each sheet is lovingly mounted by hand here and sent to you carefully. The mount is cream - nice and neutral, to work with whatever colour of frame you choose. The mount will not cause any damage to your stamp sheet, allowing you to frame it for the wall without risking your investment. The sheets simply slip into the mount without need for damaging tape. Choosing the mounted options makes the sheet into an even more beautiful gift. If you are a member of one of our Sheet Clubs, this sheet will be automatically reserved for you.
