Own your own piece of Ocean Liner history
An icon of our times, QE2 has sailed to her final resting place in Dubai after 40 years of loyal service.
It is hard to believe that on 11 November 2008, she left Southampton for the final time.
Loved by millions since her launch in 1969 (the same year that Concorde first flew), Cunard's most loved cruise ship has now retired.
As well as being perhaps the world's most famous cruise ship, QE2 played her part in for her country in 1982 during the Falklands Conflict. She carried 3,000 troops and 650 volunteer crew to the south Atlantic.
For most of us, she is a symbol of the age of glamour, of holidays and luxury, of dreams, delight, of freedom of the seas. Her final voyage truly was the end of an era.
