Why this is perfect for YOUR collection:

Farewell to the World's Most Famous Cruise Ship

Mark the End of an Era with these Superb Cunard Covers

An icon of our times, QE2 sailed to her final resting place after 40 years of loyal service in 2008.

Loved by millions since her launch in 1969 (the same year that Concorde first flew), Cunard's most loved cruise ship retired to become a floating hotel in Dubai.

As well as being perhaps the world's most famous cruise ship, QE2 also played her part in for her country in 1982 during the Falklands Conflict. She carried 3,000 troops and 650 volunteer crew to the south Atlantic.

For most of us, she is a symbol of the age of glamour, of holidays and luxury, of dreams, delight, of freedom of the seas. Her final voyage truly was the end of an era.

Official Cunard Covers

We were thrilled to be working once again with Cunard to commemorate QE2's final Atlantic crossing.

The large cover that you can see above marked QE2's last voyage from Southampton to New York.

This outstanding official Cunard cover was:
  • Genuinely postmarked in Southampton, UK
  • On the day QE2 left Southampton for the LAST time on her way to New York.

  • Carried on her final Atlantic voyage
  • That's right. Each of these limited edition covers has been onboard QE2's final cruise from Southampton to New York.

Each cover arrives with a certificate and bears an exclusive "carried cachet" (rubber stamp) It also bears a genuine 1969 QE2 stamp.
