Celebrating Two Momentous Anniversaries

This is a very special cover indeed. The artwork was originally designed by Cath for our Golden Jubilee coin cover. With the gold blocking on the illustration as well as the gold postmark (only available on Buckingham Covers), it made a really luxurious cover. It was so stunning that we decided to create a unique single-stamp version to accompany the coin cover.

Our single-stamp Golden Jubilee cover is double-postmarked to celebrate two momentous anniversaries: the first is 6th February 2002 - the 50th Anniversary of the Queen's Accession - and the second is 29th May 2003 - the 50th Anniversary of the Conquest of Everest.

Each cover features one of the beautiful black & white portrait stamps, issued to celebrate the Accession 50th Anniversary, as well as a Conquest stamp.

We were incredibly proud to be able to offer a very limited number of these covers signed by none other than Sir Edmund Hillary himself! This cover would make a fine addition to any collection.
