Collecting railway covers is a passion for some and an investment for others. For us, creating the covers is all about passion!

Many people believe Buckingham Covers make the most beautiful covers in the world. We hope you'll agree!
In 1846 the Cornish Railway Act received Royal assent and one of the stipulations was that the Saltash Ferry was to be replaced by a bridge linking Cornwall to the rest of the UK by rail.
To mark the 150th Anniversary of the bridges official opening, we created this beautiful tribute to the great man's work. The cover, designed by Isobel Fraser-Underhill, features the artwork of renowned railway artist Terence Cuneo. It carries the Royal Albert Bridge stamp from the 2006 Brunel issue and is postmarked on the day with our official Saltash, Cornwall, postmark.

On 6th May 1994 the Queen and France's President Mitterrand formally opened the Channel Tunnel during two elaborate ceremonies in France and Britain.
We commemorate this historic day with a fabulous rail cover postmarked in Folkestone and featuring a wonderfull image of one of the Eurostars in 1994.
