BABIES, BABIES, BABIES!

As many of you who read our magazines and Tony's emails will know, we have had a lot of baby talk going on in the office over the past 9 - 12 months! and almost all of the little bundles have arrived so here goes the congratulations!

• Congratulations firstly to Ellie (our Sales Director) and Tom on the birth of baby Amy
• Congratulations also to Tracey (our Productions Manager) and Sean on the birth of baby Nina
• Congratulations to Peter (our IT Director) and his family on the birth of his first grandson baby Oliver
• And Best wishes and Good Luck to Clair (one of our Designers) & Andy on the impending birth of their little bundle of joy!

BRAND NEW SIGNATURES
News just in we have some exciting signers coming up in the next few months!

We are very excited to announce that the great James Bolam will be signing our Childrens Books covers. Not only is he a national treasure with a career spanning four decades and such roles as Terry Collier in the "Likely Lads" and Jack Ford in "When the boat comes in". He is now currently playing Grandpa in the Cbeebies show "Grandpa In My Pocket".

Following the huge success of our First Day Cover Masterclass last year and the first wave of "Masterclass Graduates", we are running the distance learning course again this September. Our online course takes students from the very basics of collecting covers, through to judging condition, spotting errors, and building a collection for interest and even financial gain. Lessons are done in your own time and there is a Certificate of Completion at the end.

We are delighted to announce that we have bought an official license to produce covers for London 2012 so our Olympics covers should be gold medal-tastic!

Did you know we offer a Wish List service? If there is something you really want in your collection, let us know what it is & your budget and we'll do our best to track one down for you. We can't make any promises but we see so many collections for sale privately and at auction that we're well placed to try! Email Betty to take advantage!

Artist Proofs now available: When a stamp sheet collector recently visited our office, he asked to buy one of our artist proofs - that is when the designer prints out the stamp sheet design before submitting it to Royal Mail for a final check. We felt it would be unfair to only offer them to him and not give all our collectors the same opportunity - so we propose a limited edition of 10 artist's proofs for each new sheet we do, presented in a special folder and signed by the designer at £35 pounds each.
